Melcourt Horticultural Gravel is a fine gravel with a nominal particle size 4-10mm. The gravel is supplied washed, lime-free and ready to use.
Consisting of sharp angular stones, this Horticultural Gravel is ideal for use with our range of permeable pavers as the gravel pieces will shear and interlock firmly with the grids to form a robust, strong surface. The gravel can also be used to construct paths, drives and around water features such as rock gardens.
In addition to this, Melcourt Horticultural Gravel is ideal for use in and around the garden. It can be mixed with soil to help improve drainage, or for use as a decorative top dressing for cacti, succulents and alpines.
