Road salt, horticultural grit and sharp sand from Suregreen can be supplied in bagged or bulk bag quantities, for fast nationwide delivery to your site.

Salts

Pink rock salt, also known as de-icing salt, can prevent ice on paths, steps, driveways, roads and playgrounds.  Containing large salt granules, this is road grade pink rock salt that is recommended for use on sites across the UK, as it is easy to spread, simple to handle in 20kg bags, and can help to prevent ice accidents on site.

Sands

In addition to our sub bases, our sharp sand (available in 20kg and 850kg quantities) is excellent for use as a bedding layer under our permeable paving grids.  Sharp sand can also be used as a top dressing for lawns to help drainage and promote root growth, similar to our sandy lawn dressing.

Grits

We supply Melcourt Horticultural Coarse Grit and Melcourt Horticultural Potting Grit, which are commonly used for cacti, succulents, and alpines.  These grits can be incorporated into composts and soils to improve drainage, or to give an attractive finish as a decorative top dressing for planters.
