Weed control fabric is a garden essential to keep weeds at bay without the need for harsh chemicals. WEED-DEFENDA 70 is a heavy-duty, non-woven garden membrane which is used to suppress and control weed growth in landscaping and gardening applications. The 70g/m² weed control fabric has been designed for maximum impact to prevent weed penetrating from underneath the membrane, whilst allowing water, air and nutrients to pass through to the soil due to its permeable nature.
Acting as a barrier to prevent weed growth and Rhizome penetration, this high-quality weed control fabric can be used under mulch, gravel garden paths, driveways, raised beds, sandpits, drives and decorative layers such as bark, stone chippings, pebbles and much more. Due to being 70g/m², WEED-DEFENDA 70 weed control fabric can also be used under artificial grass, domestic patios and aggregate paths for domestic use.

Useful tips for installing WEED-DEFENDA 70:
Remove all vegetation before clearing and levelling the soil. Lay WEED-DEFENDA 70 over the soil and secure using u-pins or plastic peg. If you need more than one row of fabric, overlap the pieces by at least 6 inches to prevent weeds from growing through the seams. Finally, add a generous layer of mulch or decorative aggregates over the fabric within 48 hours to protect the membrane from U.V. light.
