Melcourt Coarse Grit

A coarse multipurpose grit which is perfect for adding to soils to help drainage. This grit offers a very attractive finish when used as a decorative top dressing, or it can be incorporated into compost mixes to improve drainage. This is ideal for dressing cacti, succulents and alpines.
 
Melcourt coarse grit has a nominal particle size of 2 - 6mm and is supplied washed and guaranteed lime-free.

Horticultural Potting Grit

A very fine grit with a nominal particle size 1 - 4mm which is supplied washed and lime-free. Potting grit is commonly used for cacti, succulents and alpines as well as for incorporating into composts and soils to help improve drainage.
