Melcourt All-Purpose Compost is manufactured from sustainable raw materials and containing no peat – using top quality conifer bark, woodfibre, coir and green compost. Dark brown in colour, this consistent, fine and free-flowing general-purpose compost is RHS-endorsed and supplied in easy to handle and manage 40L bags.
The compost contains balanced slow-release plant nutrients to give optimum fertilisation for the first 4-6 weeks.

Note: Not suitable for use with ericaceous, lime hating plants such as azaleas and rhododendrons. For these use Melcourt SylvaGrow® Ericaceous Compost. Under certain conditions a white mould may appear on the compost surface during storage. This is not harmful to either plants or humans.
