What is composite decking?
Composite decking combines wood fibre and plastic to form a deck that is denser, stronger and heavier than wood alone. Made from 95% recycled materials, our URBAN range is environmentally friendly and long-lasting.
How do you maintain a composite deck?
Composite decking is easy to maintain. Simply use warm soapy water and a soft bristled brush to remove general dirt, debris and any spillages of oil, grease, food or drink.
Is composite decking better than wood?
Composite decking offers greater durability and less maintenance than wooden decking. Our URBAN deck boards combine this durability with a natural wood grain finish on one side with narrowly spaced grooves on the other. It simply is the best of both worlds!
How much is composite decking vs wood?
Wooden decking is generally cheaper than composite decking, however, composite decking will stand the test of time being UV-stabilised, strong and long-lasting.
Is composite decking worth the money?
Yes. Composite decking has the attractive appearance of natural wood, however, is easier to clean, simple to clean with a simple brush down and longer lasting. URBAN comes with a 20-year manufacturer’s warranty for added peace of mind.
Is composite decking slippery when wet?
Our composite decking feature a textured, barefoot-friendly finish that provides traction, making them slip-resistant.
