Warehouse Supervisor – Finchingfield, Essex

Reporting to: Head of Operations
Salary band: £25-£27k

The Role

• Arrange unloading of goods and storage in appropriate location
• Accurate picking and packing of daily orders
• Loading of courier vehicles
• Stock control and management
• Yard maintenance
• Vehicle maintenance
• Supervision of warehouse operatives

The Person

• Counterbalance and forklift driving qualification
• IT literate
• Previous yard / warehouse supervision experience
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage a team
• Full driving license
• Ability to delegate and give instructions
• Must be able to work as a team, and upon own initiative
• Have a general knowledge of what is required from each position and procedural awareness
• Have in-depth knowledge of machinery in the area that you are running
