About the role

Suregreen are looking for warehouse operatives to work in our Operations team on a 4-6 month fixed term contract in Finchingfield, near Braintree in Essex.

Location: Finchingfield, near Braintree

Type: Full-time, contract

Salary: £11.30 per hour

Hours: 8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Main duties of the role

• Preparing goods to allow for efficient packing
• Ensuring all inbound stock is checked thoroughly for quality and quantity
• Ensuring the stock control system is updated to reflect stock in and its location
• Performing regular stock checks to ensure the stock control system is accurate
• Ensuring all stock movements are tracked through the stock scanning system
• Picking and packing goods for dispatch, ensuring accuracy at all times
• Reviewing and scanning returned items back into stock
• Liaising with the Customer Care team on returned items/orders
• Informing supervisors of items and packing materials low on stock
• Performing daily vehicle checks before operating any company vehicles
• Operating company machinery safely at all times

Desirable: Forklift Counterbalance Licence
