Stock Fencing / Agricultural Wire Netting
Galvanised steel stock fencing is a fencing mesh designed for inclosing livestock including pigs and lambs. Stock fence C8/80/15 is hot-dipped galvanised for a rust-free long life.
C8/80/15, C8/80/30 & C8/120/30 stock fencing is used in farming and agriculture to fence in livestock and field boundaries. The metal fencing mesh has 150mm square holes and supplied on 50m rolls. The wire sizes are shown below:
- C8/80/15 - 80cm high, 8 horizontal wires, 15cm between vertical stay wires.2.5mm top and bottom wires, 2mm middle wires
- C8/80/30 - 80cm high, 8 horizontal wires, 30cm between vertical stay wires.2.5mm top and bottom wires, 2mm middle wires
- C10/120/30 - 1.2m high, 10 horizontal wires, 30cm between vertical stay wires.2.5mm top and bottom wires, 2mm middle wires
- C10/120/15 - 1.2m high, 10 horizontal wires, 15cm between vertical stay wires.2.5mm top and bottom wires, 2mm middle wires
The mesh is zinc galvanised to protect the fencing against corrosion and rust.

Installation
Stock fencing should be installed using rounded timber fencing posts. Corner posts should be braced as these will take the tension. Galvanised straining line wires should be used to keep the stock fencing taut and under tension. Barbed wire can be added above the fencing if required for added security and the control of livestock.
