Plastic Garden Mesh (50mm mesh holes)
Semi-rigid plastic garden mesh with a 50mm mesh hole size can be used for many applications in the garden as fencing, clematis growing and plant support. Typical applications include plastic garden fencing, dog enclosures, pet runs, clematis climbing support and plastic mesh boundary fences.
Garden mesh is manufactured from green or black HDPE plastic mesh and has a 50mm mesh hole size / aperture and is semi-rigid but will require support. Depending on the product, the mesh weighs either 280g/m² or 320g/m² (50mm mesh product). The plastic garden mesh fencing with a 50mm mesh hole size is available in rolls of 1m high by 25m, 10m and 0.5m x 5m long - ideal for Clematis climbing support.

Installation for fencing
50mm hole size plastic garden mesh should be fixed to timber wooden fence posts when being used for fencing. The prepared method should be to batten the mesh to the posts (mesh between the wooden fence post and a timber batten), thus spreading the fixing across the whole length of the plastic mesh. Fixing using U-nails can result in individual plastic mesh filaments taking the strain for the whole fence - this may result in some filaments ripping in excessive forces. Suregreen Limited supply galvanised steel or PVC coated straining line wire to keep the plastic mesh fence tight and stops the mesh drooping between fence posts. We strongly recommend using straining wires if you require a longer lasting fence.
