PVC Coated Chicken Wire Mesh
Suregreen PVC Chicken wire is manufactured from galvanised steel coated in a protective green plastic. There are a few benefits to PVC coated chicken wire compared to the standard galvanised, the main benefit to the plastic coating is the fact that the plastic dulls and coats any protentional sharp pieces of metal on the wire making it safer for use with animals. The fact that the wire is galvanised and also has a further plastic coating also means that the wire will tend to be able to survive longer when exposed to wet environments without suffering from rust.
Chicken wire is sometimes referred to as hexagonal wire mesh due to the distinctive shapes oh the holes. The PVC coated wire netting is protected against the elements as is suitable for outdoor applications such as chicken coops, rabbit runs, garden fencing, deer fencing and fruit cages. The metal chicken wire netting is manufactured from steel wire that is galvanised with using a hot-dipped zinc coating that provides the metal with a corrosion resistant surface that is designed not to rust. This steel mesh is then coated in green PVC plastic which insures the wire will remain protected and strong and gives that visually appealing green finish.
We offer a range of different lengths, heights and holes sizes throughout a chicken wire range, we also offer the majority of our roll sizes in a standard galvanised finish, please contact us our visit our galvanised chicken wire page to see our full range.
