From decorative stones and gravel to construction sub bases, sharp sand and postcrete, Suregreen have got you covered with high-quality aggregates delivered directly to your site.

Our construction aggregates, including our popular MOT Type 1 Sub Base, Sharp Sand and Gabion Limestone Rocks, are available in bulk bags (typically 850kg) for larger projects.  Our decorative aggregates, such as White Cobbles, Blue Slate Chippings and Cream Cotswold Chippings, can be supplied in both bulk bags and poly bags (20kg/25kg) for smaller projects.

If you’re unsure on how much sand, slate or gravel you require for the job at-hand, use our aggregate calculator on each of our product pages to help with these calculations.  For further technical advice for specific trade applications, such as those where an angular gravel fill is required for our permeable paving grids, please contact our Technical Sales Team on sales@sure-green.com.

For those running a business, we offer exclusive trade pricing for those with a trade account.  We also open bright and early 7 days a week, so that you can collect from our trade counter on your way to your next job.

The different types and benefits our aggregates range:

  • Pea gravel: Pea gravel is a small, rounded aggregate that is often used in landscaping as a decorative element. It is often used to create pathways or as a top dressing for potted plants. Pea gravel is attractive and easy to work with, but it is not as effective at improving drainage as some other types of aggregates.
  • Sand: This fine-grained aggregate that is often used in landscaping to improve drainage. It can be added to soil to help create a looser, more aerated structure, which is especially helpful for plants that prefer well-draining soil. Sand can also be used as a top dressing for potted plants or in the construction of pathways or patios.
  • Gabion Limestone: Limestone is a relatively hard and durable rock, which makes it suitable for use in gabions. It is not prone to breaking or crumbling, and it is resistant to weathering, making it a long-lasting choice for gabion walls.
  • Slate chippings: slate chippings are resistant to weathering and long-lasting, making them a practical choice for use in gardening and landscaping.
