Windbreak fencing is perfect for protecting domestic animals, plants, gardens and horticultural areas from harsh winds. We offer three types of windbreak solutions which can suit domestic or professional applications - windbreak fencing mesh, windbreak cladding mesh and knitted windbreak mesh.
Windbreak fencing mesh reduces wind speeds through its hexagonal mesh apertures which helps to protect crops, plants, animals and nurseries from heavy winds. Manufactured from HDPE plastic, this mesh creates a decorative garden fence or horticultural/agricultural fencing where destructive winds need to be reduced. UV-resistant and rot-resistant, this lightweight mesh reduces wind speed by breaking its force when it passes through the 50% of mesh holes.
Windbreak cladding mesh fencing is different to our plastic windbreak fencing mesh. The plastic windbreak cladding mesh is stretched during its manufacture which increases the tensile strength of the fencing. This makes the plastic mesh very strong, robust and durable. It's designed to reduce wind speeds by 50% as it passes through the oval holes and will protect nurseries, gardens, crops, vegetable patches, allotments and livestock from destructive winds. This is also UV and rot-resistant.
Knitted windbreak mesh is used for shade protection and windbreaks and is ideal for agriculture, crops, farms and gardens. Suregreen provides a range of monofilament and flat tape threads and double lock-stitch knitted fencing nets which have fixing eyelets at the top and bottom. Our range provides 50% of shade protection and 50% of windbreak protection.
