About the role

Suregreen are looking for friendly, approachable Customer Service Associates to join our Customer Care team in Finchingfield, near Braintree in Essex.

Location: Finchingfield, near Braintree

Type: Full-time, fixed term (with a view to going permanent) 

Salary: From £12.46 per hour

Hours: 8 hour shifts on a rolling rota

Main duties of the role

• Answering customer phone calls and email enquiries promply and courteously
• Providing customers with product, price and delivery information
• Processing orders over-the-phone and face-to-face
• Proactively contacting customers with order and delivery updates
• Welcoming and assisting customers visiting our Trade Counter
• Taking customer payments in line with our agreed payment procedure
• Helping to achieve the budget attributed to the Customer Care team
• Ensuring all customers receive top service across every channel

About you

• Experience in a customer service role
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
• Confident and friendly telephone manner
• Solid grasp of using a computer to manage and process orders
• Numerate and good written English skills
• Ability to solve problems quickly
• Works well as a team
